Well a course Cai'er was going win that battle hands down, and here I thought blady was just another arrogant show-off like the prince jerk. However he got the power to back it up with lol, and what I need is to see Hao Chen transform back into dark Chen again before this season ends.

wouldn't say hes arrogant, more like childish. he doesn't even want to fight but when he does he likes to make a show out of it. in order for him to be considered arrogant he would need to think of himself as being better even when hes not. this isn't the case, he doesn't believe he is stronger.

The tournament is obviously to introduce other characters that will be seen fighting throughout the future of the series. It honestly is very important. But I can see where you are coming form, not everyone is into Tournament Arcs.

I think it's good that the story seems to jump between the tournament and other events. It doesn't throw everything at you at once, gives variety. I think that is a key to making a good tournament. Even if you aren't into the tournament, it doesn't take long to get into other action.
